Presadiretta Uranium sand

St 2022/239 min
Kazakhstan, a large country in Central Asia, is the world's leading producer of natural uranium. From Kazakhstan's giant deposits, which extend for hundreds of kilometers, it is extracted using an economical and environmentally noninvasive technique called leaching. Basically, water containing uranium is extracted directly from the ground. The precious mineral is then exported all over the world: to Asia, Europe, the United States, China and even Russia. A market that is worth $9 billion a year and is considered to be booming.
